“JAYA SRI MAHA BODHI†BLESSINGS INVOKED ON 66 ANNIVERSARY OF CORPS OF SRI LANKA ENGINEERS
The flags blessing ceremony in connection with the 66 Anniversary of Corps of Sri Lanka Engineers got underway at “Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi†Anuradapura on 01 November 2017 amid a large gathering of Senior Officers, Officers and Other Rankers.
Colonel Commandant and the Commander Security Forces (West) Major General Sudantha Ranasinghe RWP RSP ndu psc as the Chief Guest together with Deputy Centre Commandant Colonel AHLG Amarapala RWP RSP psc and number of Senior Officers graced the occasion.The flags were invoked blessings at the “Udamaluwa†and “Ruwanweli Maha Seya†precincts respectively. As the final segment to the day’s ceremony, an incumbent monk conducted the religious rites for the gathering.
